Melting Trends presents a Thursday night release in the Berkeley Backyard. Asbury Park's own Cory Blair celebrates her debut EP "Midheaven", out everywhere the very next morning! Joined by a stacked hometown-and-beyond bill, Philly's Gazee makes the trip to the beach, Great Oblivion continues with their momentous ascension, and multiple Makin Waves Award-winner Renee Maskin rounds out the lineup, with DJ Crash Doll/Crash Doll Vintage spinning between sets and curating your end of summer/fall fashion with some vintage clothing racks! The solo project of Asbury Park singer-songwriter and producer Cory Seyler, moving between raw indie rock, anthemic synth-pop, and sharp lyricism… grief, transformation, and homecoming, all in one set. Debut EP "Midheaven" lands August 7 (the morning after this show), teased by singles "Other Side" (a FLOOD Magazine premiere featuring Luke Temple), "Are We Dead," "Tide and the Moon," and "Paolo."
The Philadelphia-based project of Natalie Newbold, fresh off singles "Blue Dot" and "Delete Me" , will becrossing the river to bring the new stuff to the beach.
Great Oblivion is a project hailing from Asbury Park, New Jersey.
Based on the solo writings of the lead singer, the project has recently grown and is taking on new sonic territory
creating landscapes from the likes of acoustic, folk, and lo-fi recordings.
Multiple Makin Waves Award-winning Asbury Park singer-songwriter (ex-Lowlight), with a new solo LP "If the World Is Ending" arriving in November, led by the single "Western Shores." Noise-maker, storyteller, hometown staple.
Legendary DJ with 30+ yrs in radio, underground clubs, and events in NY/NJ. Spinning all night between sets! Crash Doll Vintage will also have a curated rack of vintage clothes for sale during the show.
